A Message About Edom^(A)(B)

⁷ Concerning Edom:^(C)

This is what the Lord Almighty says:

²⁶ If we deliberately keep on sinning^(A) after we have received the knowledge of the truth,^(B) no sacrifice for sins is left,

¹⁷ The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths^(A) came fire, smoke and sulfur.^(B)

¹⁶ Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace^(A) and may be guaranteed^(B) to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.^(C)

¹¹ The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.^(A)

²⁵ Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same.^(A) God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do.^(B)

⁸ We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.^(A)

⁹ Even though we speak like this, dear friends,^(A) we are convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do with salvation.
